Oct 29, 2021 · Hello. I submitted my i130 on October 2 of this year (2021) and got a "your case is being actively reviewed" 1 week later. I am doing the i130 for my spouse and I am a US citizen. How long after actively reviewed does it take? And since it is being actively reviewed does that mean mine is going quicker? Hello! Good luck. I am in the “actively reviewed” stage too. Applied online on Jan 4, 2022. Got my receipt and biometric reuse notice within 5 minutes. Since then, case is actively being reviewed. I think that once USCIS gets/has fingerprints and sends it for the checks, it changes to “actively reviewed”. No one knows how long it will be.

USCIS is estimating 4-7 months for my case before sending it to the National Visa Center. Next month I’ll be 7 months, so I don’t think it’s going to take months or years. Also the Nebraska location is working pretty fast.
