Was a self-inflicted problem. I have owned my GSG-1911 .22 since they first came out. I absolutely loved the little gun as it was completely reliable with virtually any ...My GSG will not fire. The other day I completely stripped my GSG 1911 to do a thorough cleaning and lubing, including taking the firing pin assembly out of the slide. I sanded the slide grooves with fine sand paper to get the slide action smoother as suggested in several Youtube videos on 'tuning' this gun.
