Ubiquiti and Mikrotik will add their own custom antenna design, TDMA support on some devices (all in the case of Mikrotik), all sorts of bridging. They take the 4 pairs that normally allow for gigabit Ethernet and PoE and give each camera only two pair. Works great for 100mbit connections. You can't simply split an Ethernet signal to two devices; both devices need their own IP address to work with UniFi. You need a switch. That is a blatant lie.
