My equipment is a (ONT/Modem) Fidium , Netgear, (routers) Asus AXE16000, Asus AX11000, Netgear Nighthawk R7000. Currently I'm running the AXE16000 as primary with others as extenders. After weeks of research and learning workaround tricks for dual WAN "load balancing" I've finally gotten it to work but there's been issues with dropped ...The ONT and router fortunately are both operational; my best guess is that they ended up reprovisioning the 10G port on the ONT so that it would pass data. Unfortunately for Fidium I used to work for a LEC & ISP, so I know what I'm talking about and I'm pleasantly persistent about getting it escalated. I moved from the 2.5 Gbps ethernet port on the Dream Machine to the SFP+ 10 Gbps port, and threw an SFP+ RJ45 module in there. This appears to be working. My theory is that the 10 Gbps port on the ONT does not like being negotiated to 2.5 Gbps. It'll work for awhile but eventually starts throwing a fit.Call them and return them. They will knock $10/mo off your bill. I did it back in December after realizing the exact same thing. I called in. They sent me a return label (Via snail mail) and then I shipped it back. In the next billing cycle my bill went down $10.
